Street Art
From the ‘lady on the wall’ at Honeysuckle to some epic multi-story pieces by well known artist Matt Adnate, the street art scene is not only alive and well but mature and sophisticated. Loved by locals, visitors and with the public support of the City’s Lord Mayor, it will only grow over time. We’re excited to see what will pop up next.
The Bolton Street Carpark
The Bolton Street carpark in Newcastle East was not much to look at until Matt Adnate came along. The Melbourne born artist has a passion for painting Indigenous culture through his own lens and has made a dramatic impression on the City of Newcastle.
